As to the actual case at hand, is there a source somewhere on-line that explains what exactly happened and any possible events leading up to the confrontation (I mean this question for the administers of H.A.R.M.)? I read the A.P./Yahoo article, but it’s pretty light on context, and it could be helpful to know the particulars to form an opinion. Was this, as the pro-fascist comments suggest, a case of randomly interrupting the nostalgia for the fatherland of some old men at lunch? Or was this a response to something?
I’m not personally familiar with Illinois European Heritage Association, but but I grew up close enough to Tinley Park to remember it in the early ’90s as a sewer of white panic and racist thuggery. It was baseball bat bullies then, but I guess those boys are now all entering their forties and, most likely, like within a few miles of the streets they used to terrorize.
Again, if someone at H.A.R.M. has either additional information or at least a site they could direct me to, it would be deeply appreciated.

I’m not against all your goals, but committing a violent assault in a public restaurant doesn’t score points with most people. All it got was five of your members arrested. Were the people attacked violent people who had committed crimes? Had they attacked any members of your group? if so, I can see some logic, but I’ve seen no evidence that the Tinley Park Five and its oppoenents had ever met before.
