Watching the white supremacist community react to the alleged attack in Tinley Park has been very informative. Online racist forums are marked by utter chaos, confusion, backstabbing, and top-down censorship in the aftermath of the event. White supremacist are turning on each other, blaming each other for perceived faults. They’re keeping their members from discussing anything that doesn’t fit into their talking points. They’re fleeing the white nationalist movement like rats from a sinking ship. They’re simultaneously claiming to be innocent, law-abiding victims of Marxist thugs while making death threats against children and family members. We’d like to delve into some of these issues in brief detail.
Skin color trumps everything, even pedophilia
In all fairness, not all members of the white supremacist community want to turn the alleged assault of a pedophile into a rallying cry for the white nationalist community. The leaders of the movement however see things much differently. Rather than just admit that one of the longtime activists involved in their community was indeed a disgusting human being who abused his wife and children and that they’re glad that his sexual proclivities have been exposed so as to rid their community of him, they decided to double-down.
In this screenshot we see that those of lower social status in the white supremacist community want nothing to do with Stormfront’s new obsessive cause. User chrisnoble states, “Just read about the ‘victim’ arrested for the child porn warrant. WTF! We can’t seem to have a single news worthy incident connected to the White Nationalist Movement without something like this materializing out of the story. I am so sick of the freaks and misfits that gravitate towards our cause.” The white supremacist community knows it’s filled with pedophiles and rapists. In order to protect its ‘prestige’, we see that the leadership of Stormfront makes the executive decision to censor any talk regarding the Steven Speer’s pedophilia.
In this thread Shawn “Kayden” bans all mentions of referring to the victim’s problem with child-pornography. User merk0331 adds in regarding the censorship of rank-and-file members of the community with, “Agreed. No need to assist them in their efforts against us. (They will have enough assistance.) The topic is: Evil/Violent/Misguided/Marxist/Fascists who attack innocent people.” (We’ll not bother to dissect the ridiculous irony of simultaneously labeling someone as both Marxist and Fascist.)
I hope all the low-ranking members over there are clear about what you’re allowed to talk about on Stormfront: Talking points set forth by your leaders. You can feel free to express yourself as long as it’s in line with the false narrative they think will best serve them. Not the “victims” of the alleged attack. Not the truth. Your leaders’ self-interest.
The tactic of simply avoiding the topic didn’t work out very well. Steven Speers is just to disgusting an individual to be ignored and the story is just too sensational to be covered up. So once again, rather than just throwing him under the bus, they triple-down. The new talking point you’re allowed to discuss on Stormfront is that the pedophile was an Anti-Racist Action mole. Surely they have some sort of evidence to back this ridiculous claim up you might assume…. Oh they do…. He has an anarchy symbol tattooed on him.
Anarchy symbols mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Given Speer’s difficulty with law enforcement over his violent and pedophile-riddled legal history, I don’t find it surprising that he’s no friend of the police. They keep cramping his ability to assault his family and stroke off to child pornography. His wife successfully took his children away from him, we can only hope she did it in time…
If you look at Steven the Viking’s profile on Stormfront you’ll see that he’s been a member since 2006. The new talking point is that Anti-Racist Action had a pedophile mole. This mole used his real name, attended several white supremacists events, and then finally decided to act on his “under-cover” work after six years by allegedly getting his head split open. Then after the poor little racist chomo got his ass handed to him, he decided he’d become a triple-agent! He volunteered to participate in a line-up to identify his former-anti-racist comrades, only to have his name run through the system finding warrants for child pornography.
Because Beckie Williams (aka “SGAITHAICH”, “scottylass”) supposedly used Steven’s laptop (and possibly was romantically involved with him), the geniuses over at Stormfront and white news network have asserted that he must have ‘hacked’ her accounts and leaked it to his ARA buddies. He did this all while incarcerated in Cook County Jail. Quite a story… I wonder how many of the rank-and-file members of the Stormfront community actually buy this shit? More simple explanation: Your “leaders” are all incompetent.
SF are really sham acting as a voice to the white community. Their “Mods” are nothing more than nazi boy scout leaders who will call you a troll for the slightest disagreement. They do more damage to the cause than helping. Since I know many SF member will look here I suggest all of you to boycott SF now.
Stormfront is run by the SPLC. It’s a convenient way of making whites who like their culture look like crazy morons with limited lexicons.
Although an enjoyably paranoid theory, this suggests that these people don’t really exist out there, or that the Southern Poverty Law Center has either the resources or the manpower to create such a group. Are the fools who stand around during Tea Party demonstrations sporting poorly written and confusing signs actually secret agents of progressive economists? Those clowns dressed in army surplus store camouflage as they patrol the border really just Mexican-Americans hoping to betray the ramifications of hate? Is the Westboro Baptist Church really a gay front meant to discredit extreme prejudice? It would be wonderful if these things WERE actually true, because it would mean there are far fewer neo-fascists in America than the evidence suggests.
As to “liking white culture”, what does this mean? I happen to greatly enjoy the Glenn Gould recordings of J.S. Bach’s keyboard works- certainly a product of “white culture”. In fact, I admit that the majority of the books, music, films, art I have enjoyed over the years have been created by whites, I guess making them elements of “white culture” as well. So as a person who is heavily steeped in the artifacts of white culture, I am confused by how these people could ever be confused as simply wanting to “like” their culture.
It’s not about liking white culture, it’s about hating all others. It’s not that they want to get together and discuss the plays of Eugene O’Neill or paintings of Degas, it’s that they want to get together and fixate on the fantasy that they’re being overrun by “the other”.

Look; obviously it would be easy (and gratifying) to equate fascism with pedophilia and rape. Reading the comments of the moderators of SF it turns out it’s even easier to label neo-fascism as disinclined to condemn this behavior when doing so runs the risk of robbing them of the opportunity to exploit the altercation in Tinley Park to work their adherents into a paranoid frenzy.
But while I think it’s far too simple to say fascist equals sex criminal, I don’t know that you can entirely discount the similarities, either. When a neo-fascist looks at Nazi Germany they don’t see the descent of a nation into madness, they see the ultimate celebration of power, power as an absolute. Over the dozen years that Hitler’s thousand year reich lasted, power- both of the racial state and the individual who executed the will of that state- became a cult-like force; while we may look upon the SS officer casually murdering the unarmed as a manifestation of evil, the neo-fascist sees in the same act an explosion of pure, untempered, unregulated power- the ultimate authority to not only rob another human of their life… but to rob them of even being considered a human at all.
I would suggest that a major motivating factor for the individual to embrace the “white pride” movement is not in response to the waning fortunes of white folk as them claim (one non-white president out of 44 does not a trend make, and even a casual glance at the board of directors of all the major corporations in America confirms that white people still seem to be doing more than okay) but to afford them the chance to play at the fantasy of total power. Poking around the Stormfront website, one instantly notices how many of the members have authority-based nicknames; it’s awash in “lords” and “heroes” and “warriors” and a veritable Wagnerian opera of Norse gods (in all fairness, I did discover one person with the rather non-menacing nickname of “shywhitekitty”).
As much of a sense of power as the neo-fascist can obtain from playing dress-up in costume shop SS uniforms and through anonymously flaming progressive websites by calling everyone a “faggot”, in the end, these are just illusionary acts of the impotent fantasist, bestowing no more power than video games or day dreaming. For those craving a REAL sense of power over another life, the desire to hold another’s right to exist in their hands, this kind of activity must ultimately seem empty. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that when neo-fascists step away from the keyboard and pick up the gun, they usually target the weakest possible victims least capable of fighting back…children. For all their blather about armed gangs in the cities, neo-fascists opt instead to take their war to a Unitarian church holding a children’s play, a Norwegian day camp.
Is it really all that shocking that when those who piss away their lives engaged in delusionary fantasies of absolute power would, when given the chance, pass up on the opportunity to wield genuine power over someone too small, too weak, too scared to resist? The surprise here is not that someone who identifies them-self as embracing an ideology that calls for the absolute rule of one person over another would seek out that experience in their personal life, the surprise is that anyone would think it’s unexpected.

I appreciate that what I’ve written may well produce a flurry of angry comments from those who often reply on this site- I have, after all, stated the very belief system they have dedicated their lives to as being a close relation to the desire to molest children. And while I do think it’s doubtful that majority of neo-fascists are actively molesting children, I stand by my analysis that they’re not entirely exclusive impulses. Simply put, is there THAT far a distance between engaging in the fantasy of ruling over a concentration camp, personally choosing who if fit to live and who deserves to die… and using a child in a way where he/she is entirely helpless?
Very good analysis. The movement gets even more pathetic when you factor in the sexual aspect. It is no secret that the movement is rife with misogyny. Stormfront tries to keep a lid on it but sites like VNN do not. For all their talk of precious white women, WNs in real life display very little concern for them in general. Worse still, they tend to despise and resent women for supposedly being less intelligent and more susceptible to “race-mixing propaganda”(because you know how seeing an interracial relationship on TV makes white women want to grab the first black guy they can find, right?).
Recently I read a story of a woman who had a nightmare experience with a member of NSM(she was very candid and open about it so I’m not revealing anything). What was most curious is the preoccupation the man in question had with his perceived sexual inadequacies. This is definitely not an isolated case. Dig into the history of most WNs, including younger ones, and you will see serious problems in terms of relationships with the opposite sex. The movement does what it always does- accepts these people simply for being white. And thus they can blame their social failures on “Jew-controlled” society.
I really wish someone far more qualified than I would look specifically into that angle and put together some theory about the relationship between social awkwardness/sexual failure and far-right ideology. It is a fascinating topic.
Hi there. I saw your article on OPP and I liked it so much I made a special comment there addressed to any WN who knows what you’re talking about and might be having second thoughts about remaining in the movement. Granted, many of these people are in so deep you will never reach them. But there are many people who have just started down that path to loserdom and their intuition is screaming at them not to go any further. They need reinforcement from people outside the movement otherwise they will get lost in the echo chamber.
If you don’t mind, I’d like to post my comment from OPP here since as you said, WNs are probably going to look at this, and I have a sincere message for them. You are doing good work.
Good find. I know some of the WNs may be reading this so I’m going to address those who have the same feelings as user “chrisnoble” and are sick of the “misfits” and “freaks” that gravitate toward your movement. Here’s a bitter truth that you need to accept: Your movement will ALWAYS attract freaks and misfits. Every once in a while one of your leaders will form some organization or start some initiative to give your movement a respectable veneer, but they will still attract these people. How do I know this? Because I have enough knowledge of the movement’s history to tell you that it’s been happening for DECADES. So that leaves you with one question: “Why does your movement attract these people?”
It’s really quite simple. You have a movement which attributes some measure of greatness to being “white”. In fact being white is the main criteria for being in your movement. Being white is not some kind of accomplishment; you do not achieve whiteness. Ergo it is only logical that those who have no accomplishments or redeeming qualities, yet happen to be white, will not only be attracted to your movement, but will be tolerated and embraced, at least until they mess up so bad as to cause a problem for your organizations.
Your self-appointed leaders also have an incentive to accept these people. They are targeting a very small demographic, and from that demographic they extract donations. Folks like Don Black, David Duke, and Derek Black make a nice living off of donations, enjoying European vacations at your expense. Your hero William Pierce lived a comfortable life on a compound paid for almost entirely by donations. When he wasn’t doing his weekly radio broadcast, he was watching the same kind of Hollywood movies he routinely condemns and ordering mail-order brides from Hungary. You think this is a lie? By all means read the biography written by one of your own people, Fame of a Dead Man’s Deeds. And while Pierce lived his cushy life he attacked black “welfare queens” and the white “urban proletariat,” in other words, working people. What do you think about a man who condemns even most white people as feminized and lazy, while living off of the donations of the same people he is attacking?
Your leaders are, quite frankly, con-men. You have listened to them long enough and where has it got you? You owe it to yourself to get out of that lifestyle and see that you can come back to normal society. There are also causes worth fighting for, and there are many social problems you already know about, but the causes and solutions to those problems that your leaders have sold you are simply false. You really ought to start seeking out the anti-racists, including ARA, and find out what this is really about. Speaking as anti-racist(though not affiliated with ARA), we do not hate you for being “white”; many of us are “white”(like me) and no, we do not feel “guilty” for this. Please, tell us in a civil manner why you got into the movement, how you came to believe what you believe, and we will explain our position. Some of us can even help you get out of the lifestyle. Some of us were in the same place you were.
So stop defending pedophiles and con-men. If you feel even a slight pang of guilt when you see your leaders or veteran comrades trying to apologize for such people, follow your instinct and find a way out. It is NOT going to change otherwise. The movement is never going to grow up and slough off all those “freaks and misfits.” It was largely founded by freaks and misfits.
